Privacy policy

Who we are

Tandem is made by Maikurii, an independent developer based in Malaysia. This policy covers the Tandem app for iPhone, iPad and Android. You can reach us at hello@maikurii.com.

What we collect

Nothing. Tandem has no servers of its own and sends no information about you or how you play to us or to anyone else. It contains no advertising, analytics, crash-reporting or tracking software, and it doesn't ask for or use your name, email address, contacts, location, photos, microphone, camera or advertising identifier.

What stays on your device

To let you carry on where you left off, Tandem saves the following on your device only:

• your level progress, stars, boosters and equipped jokers;
• your settings (sound, music, vibration, table color and similar);
• the level you're currently playing;
• whether you own Tandem Plus, so it works offline.

This information never leaves your device except as part of the device backups you control (for example iCloud or Google backup), under Apple's or Google's own terms. You can erase it at any time with Settings › Reset All Progress in the app, or by deleting the app.

Purchases

Tandem Plus is an optional one-time purchase. Payment is handled entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play; we never see your payment details, name or account information. The app checks with Apple or Google whether your account owns Tandem Plus, and that check happens between your device and their service. Their privacy policies apply to those transactions: Apple and Google.

Internet and permissions

Tandem works fully offline. It only connects to the internet to talk to the App Store or Google Play about purchases. On Android it asks for the permissions those purchases need (internet and network state) and permission to vibrate for tap feedback, which you can turn off in Settings.

If you email us

If you contact us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to write. We use it only to reply to you, never share it, and will delete it on request.

Children

Tandem is suitable for all ages. Because it collects no personal data, it collects none from children either.

Your rights

As we hold no personal data from the app, there is nothing to access, correct or delete on our side. For anything sent to us by email, write to hello@maikurii.com and we'll help, in line with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act and the laws that apply where you live.

Changes

If Tandem ever starts handling data differently, we'll update this page and the effective date above before that version of the app is released.
